Painting an epic scene like this one was really fun. This was painted from private property above the gorge, about 2000 feet elevation. You could probably spend the rest of your life just painting scenes from up there. The vegetation is kind of scrubby grasses, pines and patches of oak trees.6x6 inches :: oil on canvas
