Un Cafecito - sold

I love this aqua colored fiestaware cream pitcher... I painted this entirely with my langnickel5590 sz30 flat brush. It gives a very loose feel to paintings. I got a comment from someone asking what brushes I use...

Surfer in 10 Speed Coffee Shop - sold

The light in this coffee shop is so interesting, coming in the windows, and backlighting the people. This guy looked interesting. As I mentioned in the post yesterday - I like paintings subjects that have alot of light/dark contrast, and this place definitely has light blasting in from the windows. Oh yeah, and 10 Speed has GREAT coffee!

You wouldn't know it from looking at this painting, but I used more colors than you would think to paint this one. White, cad red, ultramarine blue, orange, yellow, raw sienna, and yellow ochre.
