Northern Lights

6"x6" | oil on archival panel
You know, like the Aurora Borealis... I do a lot of experimenting with my little 6"x6" paintings, and well, this is an experiment. Can you really paint the Northern Lights? I have been inspired by them lately, living in Oregon, they do appear occasionally, and it makes me just wonder, how primative nomadic people must have felt when they saw them. It's a wonderful world, so many amazing things.

Click this link to view "Northern Lights" oil painting on Daily Paintworks Website, and to see all of my available paintings.

Pinterest Tip - you can hover over the painting and a "pin" button automatically pops up, so you can easily pin any painting to a pinterest board.

Lovely Painting Cathleen. It doesn`t bother me too much What colour the sybject is as long as the tone`s are right, or near enough. I do try to make it colourful though. All the best Cathleen.
