These paintings are both so wonderful, Cathleen. My hat is off to you for being able to switch sizes like that. Personally, I think that is a challenge!
I get used to doing the little 'uns, using very little paint and small brushes, and not a whole lot of time. Then when I have a big 'un to paint, it feels like it's taking forever, and I have to get out lots more paint, and mix up what seems like huge vast quantities of it, and push it around with monstrous brushes.
Nice work Cathleen! I love the extremes and you handled them very well. Congrats on the commissions!
