Water

Here I am, breaking the rules AGAIN...don't put your subject right in the middle of your canvas... I don't know, I think it works. I like the glass in the middle. Perhaps it works because one of the centers of interest is the glow in the shadow off to the side.

I agree...I think it works. I love the way you handled the reflections on the goblet and the reflection on the table. So beautifully and confidently painted.

Also your use of thirds in your background does a great job of breaking up the central theme, it's a strong painting Cathleen!
