#1054 Douglas Fir Tree

6"x6" | oil on archival panel

Same tree, different day! At Tsuruta Park, sister city to Hood River OR. I think it's good to go to the same places to paint. It allows you to time to process what you have painted, and consider different ways of painting the same subject. This was a plein air painting, a demo for the class.

Tree by the Columbia River - sold

This painting was started in September, it dried and I kept repainting it and repainting the whole thing about 3 times. Sometimes that's just what it takes to get something you like.
