My painting for "The Remains" Art Gallery in Hood River. The theme is ICONS. I worked In Mexico City after college as Art Director for an English Language newspaper, The Mexico City News, where I visited the Casa Azul Frida Kahlo Museum often.

Hood River might have a unique "waiting for wind" culture. Kiteboarding and Windsurfing are huge here, and if it's not windy there are a lot of people hanging out just waiting for the wind to pick up.
