Shiny Ladle

Something shiny to paint. Did I mention that I met the painter, Henry Stinson at our local art gallery, he has some very fun and exciting paintings on display there. Google him, he has quite a resume. He studied with Ron Lukas, who was a student of Sergei Bongart. I wish I had studied with Sergei Bongart. Anyway, I was inspired to paint something colorful and shiny. More to come.

Holiday Spice - SOLD

Snowed in. Maybe more snow than I have ever seen at my house. Over 12 inches. Lots of cool things to paint in my house though. Like these inspiring little peppers.

Green and Red - SOLD

Red and green on an orange surface was really fun to paint. The shadow on orange was visually interesting to me. I am all about shadow exploration right now. The edges of the shadows, the color of the shadows, warm/cool tones and values are all fascinating challenges.
