Cleopatra Camelia

Tuesday Plein Air finally! I could feel the heat of the sun! It's good to finally get outside and do some painting. Good News Gardening has lovely sculptures and plant arrangements, that are so inspiring to paint. I painted this sculpture last week and wasn't really happy with the values and colors in the shadows. This week I tried it again, and I feel like I'm "getting it"...

Beautiful color. I love the red/rusty colored area behind the statue. I enjoy your looseness so much.
