Hills of Eastern Oregon - sold

Sometimes you just want to paint with really thick paint and have some fun!

The Eastern Oregon desert is fascinating to me. It is a high desert with huge rolling hills and grand cloudscapes.

Ruby Glass - sold

Red glass just looks really cool. The red glass has a nice jewel tone to it. And it's fun to paint objects through the red glass.

I'm teaching my Thursday Morning Oil Painting class tomorrow morning from 10am - 12 noon at the Columbia Center for the Arts, 215 Cascade Ave, Hood River, Oregon (541) 387-8877.

Hot Chocolate - sold

Well this cup DID have hot chocolate in it.

This is part of my series of exploration of complementary colors - today the orange and blue/purple colors, and yellow/purplish. The previous painting of the Red Cup was an exploration of a warm red and teal/turquoise. This exploration of complements is in reference to the Munsell Color Wheel.
