Pearl District Composition - sold

I am exploring painting some colored glass for variety in the compositions with the grapes. I bought the red glass from an antique store in the Pearl District in Portland, it's very cool. Everything in the painting came from the Pearl District! Turquoise glass is always fun to paint, when ever I can find it.

Very nice indeed! I love the clarity of the glasses (not to mention the colors!) contrasted with the semi-transparency of the grapes, and how the grayer table and backgrounds really set all three to singing. And look at the wonderful shadows!
