This painting is a demo from a class that I taught today. I liked the way it turned out, with the minimum of brush strokes to define the form. I was trying to count the brushstrokes, a max of 20 brushstrokes per form.
I like trying to find the right sky holes to paint.

I am working on a series of peppers... in all colors. I like the intense red.
Sometimes I just pick things that are colors that I want to paint that day. I just wanted to paint complementary colors that day.

This beet is very interesting, the farmer at the Farmers Market told me that when you cut it open, it has alternating pink and white rings.
We are lucky to have an Italian Plum tree in our yard. It yields more plums than we can eat.
