Down By The River - sold

The Columbia River Gorge. We had our Tuesday Plein Air morning... about 12 people showed up to paint on the property of The Friends of the Gorge in Mosier. Tall Ponderosa Pine Trees and native tall grass, and then cliffs down to the river. We met at 10 Speed Coffee East at about 8am, before we started painting this morning for a little breakfast and of course, coffee.

Pink Picnic Table - Sunny Day at Mike's Ice Cream - sold

Mike's Ice Cream is the place to sit at a pink picnic table, and eat your ice cream! I think she is watching someone else eat their ice cream.

Fluevogs

Artists paint some crazy things, don't they?
These shoes are a pair of Fluevog shoes. They are Canadian shoes… the designer, John Fluevog sees himself as an artist and philosopher who happens to make shoes.
John Fluevog has interesting quotes like, "Your sole is your future"…"Take time for your sole"…
So it's kind of interesting to make a painting of someone else's artwork.
